we are now FINISHED!!

The EL shoot was a huge success, great hair, fashion and make-up and I would like to say a big, big personal thank you to Anna and Nina from Roba Press our production house and to Tino (Shorty) Rohde without whom my sanity would have left me completely.

This collection is dedicated to hairdressers everywhere.

The entire team have delivered a fantastic contribution to what is an entire collection of inspiring yet salon friendly looks and styles. Today our final 2 models, Paulin and Darell feature in our trend story "Grunge".

Good evening EL blog followers, one word describes today.

F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C

an amazing day with most beautiful pictures of Maria and Mayra taken by Tony Kim our exceptionally talented EL photographer. The "Boudoir" story has left the entire team elated and very happy.

Tomorrow sees our final trend direction story "Grunge" and all we can say is, "bring it on" more in the morning.

Just finished!! What a great day with Nicole and Eugen in our Uniform story. Very directional hair yet still commercial and real.

Hello EL bloggers.

The trend story today is called "Uniform". This will be a much followed trend next season as it will have mass appeal for both men and women.

Military influences with cool short haircuts that will be so popular on a global scale.

Our 2 models Nicole and Eugen show exactly how great this trend looks.

The team are exhausted after a totally full on inspirational day (personally speaking I think the reason for the euphoric atmosphere was because because we played "my" I-Pod music all day!)

Today sees us working on our 2 beautiful models Ute and Elena for the trend direction "Punk Goddess".

Hello EL blog followers,

not a good start of our final day of Step By Step shooting. One of our model`s phoned in sick so it looks like we will be having to fit her in later in the week. The good news is that Nicole our "Uniform" trend model looks fantastic.

The team have a day off tomorrow and on thursday we are filming a model for our Schwarzkopf video so no more EL news until friday.

day 4 closes very successfuly with happy "Punk Godess" and "Boudoir" models.

As always within EL we try to get a balance of different haircuts and colours throughout the collection and once again we are seeing examples of work which will excite lots of hairdressers, globally.

At the end of day 3 we can sense that this collection will have the "wow" factor feeling. 2 superb cut and colour results today which got everyone excited.

Stelli, our EL collection make-up artist dropped by the studio this afternoon and has some great ideas for next week.

Hello EL blog followers,
we start our third day full of energy and raring to go (an extra hour in bed really helped with the clocks going back!)
Today we have Charleen for our Cyber Sport trend and Paulin for the trend, Grunge.
We are using ESSENSITY and Color Gloss today using some new amazing colours (top secret).

As always the atmosphere is electric, the music is pumping and we are ready to create some more magic !!

A fantastic start on our first day with 2 stunning haircuts and colours.

Mayra looks amazing with her "Boudoir" trend look as does our male model Eugen sporting his "Uniform" cut and colour.

Both models look fashion forward wearing looks that are directional yet still so commercial and salon friendly.
